Hi, I’m Kit, a freelance photographer based in Reading, UK.
Photography has been a passion since my teens, from capturing special moments and memories at events to creating beautiful portraits. I am fascinated by the science and psychology of photography; the techniques and how you can change the atmosphere and mood of an image through the play of light and setting or just to create a visually stunning image.
A lot of my work is with families and children, using my background in youth work to help capture the essence of what it’s like to be a child.
I mainly work using natural light and settings, but for some projects I use light modifiers and strobes to generate the atmosphere that I’m wanting in the image.
